During the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, I, along with many others, sought new ways to occupy my time at home, distanced from friends and family. One of my projects was to build this website on which I could display my photographs. When that was finished, I was left looking for a new project.

All my adult life, I’ve wished I could draw, paint, create. I wanted to be an artist! So in February of 2021, I quite spontaneously decided to order some watercolour paints, some paper, brushes, and a few other implements and set about trying my hand at drawing. It was something I had done a lot of as a kid but I never felt I had the kind of talent that was needed to produce art that was any good. 

Now I find that I did have some talent hiding away all these years after all; it had just gone undeveloped. I’m still pretty new to this artform but, so far, I’m loving it. I hope my pieces make you smile and warm your heart.
